This High-Level Session, co-organized by UNCTAD and the OECD, will provide an opportunity to discuss with leaders in the Development Co-operation Community and from partner countries how to better harness development co-operation and financing fit for our digitalizing world. Key questions for discussion • How can the development co-operation community leverage its knowledge, skills, resources and networks to foster a just digital transformation, with a focus on equity, safety, and poverty reduction? • In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, how can development co-operation actors best work with partner governments, the private sector and other stakeholders to support development gains from e-commerce and other forms of digital transformation in low- and middle-income countries? • What good practices exist in terms of integrating the digital dimension in current development assistance policies? • How can development co-operation help ensure meaningful participation of developing countries in inclusive global processes for designing the rules and values underpinning the digital future?
